El 24 de febrero abrí este tumblr de musiquita sin muchas pretensiones, simplemente compartir una canción al día con el que sea que llegue a la página de alguna manera u otra. En un principio quería llamarle MixTape en tributo a esa era y los muchos que regalé. Pero, estaba registrado. Tuve que inventarme este juego de palabras que pretende confundir y/o sugerir posibles significados.

Premiere de An Island.

El pasado 1 de febrero se estrenó mundialmente la película de Vincent Moon, An Island. Esta docu/video se enfoca en la banda danesa Efterklang y su recorrido por la isla de Als, lugar de infancia para los músicos. Se presentó mundialmente con los requisitos de que fuera un evento gratis y público, así lo quiso la banda y su director. Acá en esta isla, el grupo Dos Tigresas y un caballito de mar gestionaron un screening en el Conservatorio de Música y le añadieron un toque particular, una entrevista a dos miembros del grupo. Fue una noche especial.

Metronomy-"She Wants"



Metronomy makes a never ending video (seems like it) for their new single “She Wants”. We haven’t heard anything new from them in years and this is definitely not disappointing, so I’m glad. Their 3rd album (4th including their re-release) The English Riviera has no specific release date yet. Apparently if you scan the barcode at 2:51 it leads you tot their band website and you can download the song for free, but I don’t get how you would scan it. Help? Download here.
