Safdie en Puerto RicoGracias Casa por descubrir este paraiso en ruinas y llevarnos allí.
Como pueden ver el proyecto nunca se completó.
Moshe Safdie, Architect
R.A. Perez-Marchand and George Z. Mark, Associated Architect (Puerto Rico)
The design for Habitat Puerto Rico I and II developed directly as an outgrowth from the original Habitat for Expo '67, utilizing factory production for constructing prefabricated modular housing units. The basic program for both Habitat Puerto Rico designs was to reproduce the living amenities of Habitat '67 within the indigenous cultural and climatic context of San Juan, and to also meet requirements placed on unit construction costs by the FHA moderate housing programs. In order to achieve this, many technical and design modifications were made from the original Habitat '67, such as reducing the weight and modifying the dimensions of the module, and simplifying structural, mechanical and electrical systems.Archinform.
